Greetings from the South Africa MTC
Your Elder is here.
Due to mechanical difficulties and bad weather, it took an extra day to
get everyone here, but we are very happy to say they made it. We are still missing luggage, but that will
be sorted out by tomorrow. What a
wonderful group of Elders. We love them
already. God has blessed us with an
incredible bunch. They had a busy day
yesterday. They found their rooms, met
their companions, unpacked, filled out forms, saw the nurse, ate, had a tour of
the MTC, emailed, and were interviewed by President Collins. Last night we had our first meeting with
them. We taught each other the
"Doctrine of Christ." Even
with their jet lag, they did a great job of participating and teaching. We can tell they have been well prepared for
their missions and are focused and ready to learn. We will take good care of them for the next
11 days and will do our best to help them become the consecrated missionaries
the Lord wants and needs.
The next time you will hear from your Elder will be on
Thursday--their Pday.
With love,
Sister Collins
